The Jackfruit is the largest tree-borne fruit in the world, reaching 35 to 40 kilos in weight. Fruits grow out of the stems and can be up to 90 cm long. They can be cooked or steamed as vegetables or eaten as fruit when fully ripe. The seeds can be roasted.
